The things travellers ask us most before they book. Anything else - just put it in the form and we'll answer with your quote.
Yes, and there is a field for it so you do not have to describe it in prose. Under "Destination(s)" on the quote form is "Stops along the way" - add a lunch stop, a comfort break or a viewpoint there and we build it into the timing rather than treating it as a delay. It matters most on the long runs: Cebu City to Oslob for the whale sharks is about three hours each way, and the drive south to Liloan port at Santander is four to five, so most people want a proper meal stop somewhere like Carcar or Argao. On a private car the stops are yours to choose and they cost you the minutes rather than a surcharge, but telling us at quote stage is what gets them into the plan and the price instead of being squeezed out of it on the day.
Yes, and it does not have to be the same journey backwards. Tick "I also need the return trip" on the quote form, give the return date, and if the way back starts or ends somewhere different - you are flying out of Mactan-Cebu rather than going back to your hotel, or heading for a pier to catch a boat onward, or simply being dropped in a different town - write that in the Anything else? box. We quote it as its own leg. It matters most when the return ends at a terminal, because then the pickup is worked back from your flight or your sailing rather than from the hour you fancy leaving: leave the return time blank, tell us the flight or the boat, and we set it. On a day tour there is no return date to give, only a Back by time, so if the day should finish somewhere other than where it started, that goes in the same box. Booked together, both legs come back as one all-in price.
Work it backwards from the flight, and it is the terminal clock that catches people out rather than the road. Mactan-Cebu asks you to be at the airport three hours before a domestic departure and four before an international one - that is Cebu Pacific own published ask, and it covers Philippine Airlines, AirAsia and Jetstar with room. The deadline you actually miss is earlier still: check-in counters typically close 45 minutes before a domestic flight and 60 before an international one, and the boarding gate shuts 15 to 20 minutes before departure. Confirm your own airline, because that is the number that ends the trip. On top of the terminal hours comes the drive, measured to the departures kerb. As a rule of thumb from the south-west coast, leave Moalboal about 7 hours before a domestic flight and about 8 before an international one; from Oslob about 8 hours before a domestic flight, because that corridor is 125 km and 3.5 to 4 hours of road. From Cebu City the drive is only 30 to 60 minutes, and 15 to 30 from the Mactan resorts, so there the terminal hours are almost the whole answer. Every route page on this site gives the figure for its own corridor with the arithmetic shown. You do not have to do any of it yourself: fill in "Flight number" and the box marked "Be at the airport by" when you ask for the quote, and we set the pickup against it and allow for traffic, luggage and the bridge onto Mactan.
Yes - give us both, and they are two different facts rather than one. The quote form has a single flight box, because the handler stores one flight number: it takes the flight you arrive on, and the hint beside it changes to say so once your pickup or drop-off is a terminal. The second flight goes in the Anything else? box, with its number, its date and its time. It matters because the two ends of the trip are timed in opposite directions. From an arrival we read the pickup off your landing, plus immigration and bags, so you do not have to estimate it. For a departure we work backwards from the check-in counter, which closes well before the flight - the question above about leaving for your flight out of Mactan-Cebu has the terminal hours in full, and the drive time sits on top of them. Give us only the arriving flight and the last transfer of the trip, usually the one that cannot be rescheduled, is timed from a date with no hour in it.
Yes - we fit child seats, and the thing to know is that the rule is about height, not age. Republic Act 11229 requires a child to be in a child restraint until they are 150 cm tall, bans anyone twelve or under from the front seat below that height, and requires the seat to suit the child’s age, height and weight, which is why a single generic seat does not cover a family of three different sizes. It fines the driver rather than the passenger, so we would much rather fit the seat than improvise. Tick "We need a child seat" on the quote form and put the ages, and rough heights and weights, in the "Anything bulky?" box - those are the numbers that decide between an infant carrier, a forward-facing seat and a booster. Tell us at quote stage rather than on the day: the seats are arranged in advance, not carried as standard. A stroller counts as luggage and a seat occupies a seat, so a family of four with two seats and a pushchair wants a van rather than a sedan even though it is only four people. You are welcome to bring your own seat, and it still counts as luggage when we size the vehicle.
It depends on the route, the vehicle size, how many of you are travelling, waiting time and any extra stops. That's exactly why we quote per trip - tell us the details and we'll send a fixed, all-in price, usually within a few hours and always the same day.
All the popular Cebu routes - Moalboal, Oslob, Kawasan Falls and Badian, Sumilon, Bantayan, Malapascua, the Cebu highlands, Simala and Carcar - plus airport transfers and fully custom multi-stop or multi-day itineraries. If it's drivable (or reachable by the island ferries), we can quote it.
Yes - it's one of the most common trips we arrange. The same vehicle and English-speaking driver stay with you for the whole trip rather than being re-booked each morning, your luggage stays in the car, and you book your own hotels wherever you like while we handle every kilometre between them. Your driver sorts his own accommodation near where you are staying, so the car is outside and ready in the morning, and the written quote makes clear how that is covered - it is not something to settle on the road. Most travellers book two to five days and get one all-in price for the trip instead of a separate quote per day.
Nothing to request a quote - asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing. After that it is two steps rather than two alternatives, and this is worth reading because our terms bind us to it. First, a booking fee paid online (secure card, bank transfer or GCash) is what turns an agreed price into a confirmed booking: your written confirmation follows the fee, and until it lands you do not yet have a vehicle and driver held for you. Second, the remaining balance is paid directly to your driver at the end of the trip, in cash or whatever method your confirmation states. Your quote states the fee before you pay anything, and the all-in figure you agreed is still the figure you pay in total - the fee is part of it, not added to it. You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before pickup and the fee is refunded in full; inside 72 hours it is non-refundable, because by then it has been committed to holding your driver. Section 8 of our terms is the binding version.
Yes. Every confirmed quote comes with a clear free-cancellation window, so you can book ahead - even from overseas - with peace of mind. Plans changed? Just message us.
We work with vetted, licensed local drivers using clean, air-conditioned, insured vehicles. You'll have a trip-day contact so there's always someone to reach if you need anything.
Absolutely - it's one of the most common things we help with. Arrange everything by email ahead of time, and we'll make sure your family is met and looked after on arrival.
Yes, and island trips are most of what we do. We drive to seven crossings: Hagnaya for Bantayan, Maya for Malapascua, Danao for the Camotes, Cebu City Pier 1 for Bohol and Panglao, Liloan at Santander for the short strait to Sibulan and on to Dumaguete and Dauin, Cebu City Pier 1 again or that same Liloan crossing for the two ways to Siquijor, and the Bangcogon jetty at Oslob for Sumilon. On every one of them the drive is timed to the sailing rather than to the clock, which matters because several of these boards have holes in them rather than hourly departures - nothing leaves Danao between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM, and the board off Malapascua ends about 4:30 PM. Here is the division of labour, plainly. What we arrange and price is the private road leg on each side of the water, the driver who waits for the boat you actually arrive on, and the timing that joins them up; on a multi-stop or multi-day chain that is normally one quote for the whole thing, though that is a default and not the only shape - ask and we will price the legs separately as well, so you can see what each transfer or each day is costing you alongside the total. The passenger ferry or outrigger ticket is yours to book and is not inside our figure unless your written quote says otherwise, and we will always tell you which is which before you pay anything. If you would rather not work out the sailings yourself, say so and we will suggest ones that fit. Tell us the crossing you are aiming for in the box marked "Ferry or boat" - not booked yet is a fine answer.
Yes. A falls-only visit and canyoneering use different drop-off points, so write "falls only" in your quote request and we will take you straight to the Badian entrance. From there it is a flat 1.5 km walk to the level-one basin, usually 15-30 minutes each way, or you can take a habal-habal motorbike taxi locally. Your driver waits at the highway entrance while you visit the falls.
Yes. One fixed all-in price for the whole trip is our default, because it is the shape most travellers want and it is the one that cannot grow after you book - but it is a default, not the only way we will quote you. Ask and we will price the legs separately as well, so a multi-day chain can come back as a figure per transfer or per day alongside the total, and you can see what each part of the trip is actually costing you. We will also quote two versions of the same trip side by side when the choice is genuinely open - a bigger van against two smaller vehicles, a route with an island day in it against one without, or the private road leg on its own against the fuller arrangement - so you can compare rather than take our word for which is better. The one line we will not blur is the one between our side and the ground: the vehicle, the driver, fuel, tolls, parking and waiting time are ours to price and they sit inside our figure, while entrance, activity, guide and boat fees at the places you stop are set by the operators and the municipalities and are paid there on the day. We do not mark those up, and we do not invent them, so we will tell you what they are for rather than print a number we cannot stand behind. Tell us how you want it broken up in the box marked "Anything else?" and that is the shape the quote comes back in.
We book the car, the driver and the timing; the activity at the far end you buy there, and on most of them nobody could buy it ahead for you even if we tried. Whale-shark watching at Tan-awan is the clearest case: it is run by the Oslob local government, sold only in person at the desk, first come first served, with a compulsory briefing and the fee paid on site - not us, not an agency, nobody. Kawasan canyoneering is the same shape, booked and guided on the day by the licensed operators at Alegria. Entrance fees at the falls, the Moalboal environmental fee, the trailhead guide at Mantalongon and the small entrances in the highlands all work that way too. There is one real exception and it runs the other way: Sumilon Island is privately run by Bluewater and the day-use pass has to be reserved in advance, so it is not a stop you can improvise. What we control is the part that decides your morning - a pickup timed so you reach the desk inside its window rather than after the cut-off, a driver who waits through the activity instead of dropping you and leaving, and a written quote that says plainly which charges are ours and which are theirs. Tell us the activity you want in the box marked "Anything else?" and we will build the day around its clock.
Usually yes, and it is worth asking rather than assuming you have left it too late - about one in five of the enquiries we get is for a trip inside the next two days, and some are for the same day. There is no minimum notice and no cut-off hour, because what decides it is simply whether a vetted driver is free for your time, and that is a question we can answer quickly: the quote comes back by email on the same day you ask, usually within a few hours. Early starts are not the problem people expect them to be either. The Oslob whale-shark run leaves before dawn as a matter of routine, so a pickup at 2:00 or 3:00 AM tomorrow is a normal request rather than a difficult one. What genuinely does narrow as it gets later is choice rather than possibility: the vehicle size you would prefer and the exact hour you would like are easier to hold the earlier we know, and on a busy weekend or over Christmas, New Year and the Sinulog weekend that is more true than usual. So the honest answer is that a late enquiry is very often a yes, just with less room to choose. Put your date in and, if the timing is tight, say so in the box marked "Anything else?" with the hour you need to be moving - that is the detail that lets us come back with a straight yes or no instead of a question.
Yes, as far as we honestly can - and the useful part is planning the day around it rather than the vehicle. Our fleet is standard road cars and vans and none is ramp- or lift-equipped, so a passenger does have to transfer to a seat, and a folded wheelchair or walking frame travels as luggage and counts towards the space we size for. What we can change is the itinerary. Some of the best-known stops in Cebu simply cannot be reached by car: the final 2-3 km down to Tumalog Falls is too steep for any vehicle, so your driver waits at the jump-off while you take a habal-habal motorbike or walk it, and that is the stop to swap rather than attempt. Osmena Peak is 20-30 minutes of climbing each way on uneven, unshaded ground with no drive-up view of the ridge. Kawasan Falls is easier than both - a flat, made-up 1.5 km path from the highway, 15-30 minutes each way, and habal-habal run the same stretch if someone cannot walk it. Sumilon means boarding a boat at a jetty. Tell us who is travelling and what they can manage when you ask for the quote, and we will say plainly which legs work, which stop to substitute and where the car can get closest - before you book, not on the day.
One van seats up to 12 people with 10 to 12 bags alongside them; a premium van is 7 to 9 seats with 6 to 8 bags, and a sedan is 1 to 3 with 2 to 3 bags. Above 12 passengers a group travels in two vehicles, and that is one booking rather than two: both drivers work to the same pickup time, they leave together and they come on a single quote. The number that actually decides the vehicle is often the luggage rather than the headcount - five people with five large cases need the same van as eight travelling light, and dive kit or a folded wheelchair counts as luggage too. So send the headcount and a rough bag count together and we size it once, rather than sending something that only technically fits. If you are not sure, say what you are carrying and we will tell you which van it is before you book.
Your driver arranges his own overnight near wherever you are staying, so the car is outside and ready in the morning and you are not finding him a room at the end of a long day. You never book it and you never hand over cash for it on the road. How it is covered is set out in the written quote before you travel, so there is nothing to negotiate once the trip has started - which also means you do not need to factor it in when you compare our price with anyone else, because it is already inside ours. Travellers sometimes offer to pay for the driver accommodation and a meal directly; it is a kind offer and it is genuinely not needed. If your plan has him a long way from any town on a particular night, tell us in the quote request and we will say so plainly rather than let it surface later.
Tell us the crossing you are aiming for and that is enough. The quote form has a "Ferry or boat" box whenever your trip starts or ends at a port or a ferry-only island, and a rough answer - "the midday OceanJet to Tagbilaran", "the last boat to Bantayan" - lets us time the drive properly. It matters more than a flight number, because a sailing is the leg with no later alternative: miss a plane and there is another that day, miss the last boat and you are a night out of place. Several of the crossings we drive to have three-hour daytime gaps rather than hourly departures, so which boat you aim at can change your pickup by hours. If you would rather we advised a sailing, say so in the same box and we will suggest one with the quote, and we will always tell you plainly which tickets you book yourself and which we handle.
Send it when you have it - a quote does not wait on it. About two in five of the enquiries we get start or end at an airport, and most of those arrive without a flight number, which is completely normal when the car is being planned before the flights are ticketed. Give us the date and roughly when you expect to land or take off and that is enough to quote and to time the drive, because every drive time on this site is measured from the arrivals exit rather than from the landing. Then send the flight number by reply as soon as you have it and we set the pickup to that flight instead: once we have it we watch the arrival, so a delayed plane moves the pickup rather than costing you the car. Changing a time this way is a request rather than an automatic right - it is confirmed subject to driver availability, like any other change - but it is the normal way these bookings come together and it is much better than guessing an hour now. There is a "Flight number" box on the form whenever your trip starts or ends at an airport; leaving it blank costs you nothing.
Planning questions we get asked so often we wrote the whole answer down - weather and seasons, how many days you need, what a private driver costs, which islands are worth the crossing. Free to read, no form required.
Tell us your trip and we'll send a fixed, no-obligation quote today - Cebu City, Mactan, the islands and everywhere in between.
