How do I do the Moalboal sardine run and Pescador Island day tour from Cebu?

Yes. Use Moalboal's seven-hour rule: be back in the car about 7 hours before a domestic flight or about 8 before an international one. If the shore snorkel has you ready at 9:00 AM, that points to a domestic departure from about 4:00 PM or an international from about 5:00 PM. If Pescador and lunch keep you until noon, think about 7:00 PM domestic or 8:00 PM international. Send the flight number, departure time and every stop in the quote request and we tell you which version fits.

Sometimes, but the clock changes when the last stop moves south to Badian. Once you finish at Kawasan, use its own rule: be changed, packed and in the car about 8 hours before a domestic flight or about 9 before an international one. Leaving Badian at 2:00 PM points to about a 9:00 PM domestic departure or 10:00 PM international. The falls-only visit also has a 15 to 30 minute walk back to the vehicle, and that comes before the airport clock starts. No. Even a noon domestic departure means leaving Moalboal around 6:00 AM, when the snorkel day would only be starting. Do the tour the day before, stay in Cebu City or on Mactan, then use the short airport transfer the next morning. We can quote both pickups together so the last day is not built around a four-hour road run.

Plan for a full day, roughly 10 to 12 hours door to door, because of the 2.5 to 3.5 hour drive each way plus the snorkel, boat hop and lunch. You spend the driving relaxed while the driver handles the roads, and there is no need to rush a bus back afterwards.

The sardine run is off Panagsama year-round, so any time of year works. The driest, calmest water is usually February to May, and an early start gives the clearest visibility and the quietest beaches before the midday boats arrive.

That is what makes an arrival or departure day work at all - you are not looking for a left-luggage counter at the terminal and not paying for a hotel room to hold bags you cannot check into yet. The day also does not have to finish where it started. A common arrival shape is a morning pickup at Mactan, the tour through the day, and a drop-off at your hotel down the coast with the bags arriving with you; the departure version runs the other way and ends at the terminal. What we need from you is the bag count alongside the headcount, because on a day like this the luggage is often what decides the vehicle rather than the number of people - dive kit, a folded pushchair and a surfboard bag all count as luggage.
