Questions

Is eTravel really free?+

Yes. The official system takes no payment of any kind. The only official routes are etravel.gov.ph and the government eGovPH app.

A website asked me to pay. What now?+

It is not eTravel: the Bureau of Immigration has warned of fake sites charging a reported P3,000 to P5,000. Report it to the CICC at cicc.gov.ph/report or hotline 1326, then file the free form on etravel.gov.ph.

How early can I fill it in?+

The eTravel FAQ says within 72 hours before your flight; the Bureau of Immigration's October 2026 advisory says 72 hours or more ahead. File as early as the site lets you, and always before you leave for the airport.

I forgot. Can I do it at the airport?+

Yes, on your phone before check-in, because the airline asks for the QR code. Do not count on a kiosk at Mactan-Cebu; no official source names one there.

What if I have no signal when I land?+

You need internet to fill the form in, not to show it. Keep the QR code as a screenshot or a printout.

I lost my QR code.+

Go to etravel.gov.ph/search and enter your reference number and date of birth. The QR code comes back.

Can I edit it, or reuse it next trip?+

Yes, under "Edit Registration", until Immigration and Quarantine have processed you. Next trip, keep the same account and update your details there.

Do children and babies need it? How do families file?+

Yes, there is no age exemption. Add family members in your own account, but each person needs their own travel declaration, so check everyone is covered before you fly.

Do I need it when leaving the Philippines?+

Filipinos do. Departing foreign visitors are not on the official list; if your airline asks anyway, it is free and takes minutes.

Who is exempt?+

Only diplomats and their dependents, foreign dignitaries and their delegations, 9(e) visa holders, and diplomatic or official passport holders.

What happens at Mactan-Cebu?+

A green QR code means straight to the immigration counter with your passport. A red one (form incomplete or wrong, or illness or exposure in the last 30 days) means a quarantine check first. The same QR code is your customs declaration: declare over PHP 50,000 or USD 10,000.

What does a private car and driver quote for this trip include?+

One fixed all-in price for the trip, agreed in writing before you travel, with fuel, tolls and parking inside it - along with any waiting time or extra stops you tell us about when you ask. What stays separate is what you would choose anyway: entrance, activity and boat fees at the places you stop, your meals, and your accommodation. We do not invent activity prices, so those you pay directly on the ground.

Landing at Mactan-Cebu? We can have a private driver waiting at the arrivals exit, at a fixed price agreed before you fly.

Quote only · no invented prices

What the quote covers
Included

  • Door-to-door pickup and drop-off at the exact addresses you give us, not a meeting point
  • Fuel, tolls and parking
  • Waiting time and any extra stops you tell us about up front, priced into the quote rather than added afterwards
  • One fixed all-in price for the trip, agreed in writing before you travel
Paid locally, not in our quote
  • Entrance, activity, guide and boat fees at places you choose to stop (paid locally)
  • Meals and personal spending
  • Accommodation, including a driver overnight on a multi-day trip unless we have set it out in the quote
  • Inter-island ferry and boat crossings, unless we have set them out in the quote

We never invent activity or entrance prices - you pay those directly on the ground.
