How do I get from Oslob to Dumaguete?

Continue south along the coastal highway from Oslob to Liloan port at Santander (about 30 to 35 km, 45 minutes to an hour), take the short fast craft across to Sibulan next to Dumaguete (about 20 to 30 minutes), then a 15 to 20 minute ride into the city. Watching opens at 6:00 AM and a ticket is about 30 minutes on the water, so a first-light interaction has you back in the car at Tan-awan around 7:30 AM. Liloan port is 45 minutes to an hour on from there, which puts you at the pier about 8:30 AM for the 9:00 AM sailing; add the crossing and the 15 to 20 minutes from Sibulan and you are in Dumaguete before 10:00 AM. Later boats at 12:00 noon and 3:00 PM leave room to add Tumalog Falls or Sumilon first. There is no slot to send us - registration is a walk-in queue that closes at 11:00 AM - so what we time is the pickup, and being early is what buys a short queue and calm water.

Almost never, for Dumaguete. Oslob is already three quarters of the way down the island, so returning to Cebu City means roughly 117 km back north before you start. Dumaguete has its own airport if you are flying onward, but for reaching the city itself the southern crossing is far quicker.

The quote is one fixed all-in price for the private vehicle leg, agreed in writing before you travel, and fuel, tolls and parking are inside it - along with any waiting time or extra stops you tell us about when you ask. Because this trip involves a sea crossing, the ferry or boat ticket is not in that figure unless we have set it out for you: tell us your crossing and we will say plainly what we are quoting for and what you book yourself. Entrance and activity fees at anywhere you stop, and your meals, are paid locally.

The car does not cross with you. We drive you and your bags to the pier, your driver helps unload and carries them as far as the terminal entrance or the ticket counter, and from there you travel as foot passengers with your own luggage - so the honest picture is bags out of the car at the pier rather than a van rolling onto the boat. Most of the terminals we drive to have porters working the entrance with trolleys; they are local and they expect a tip, and they are not part of our quote because we neither employ them nor set their rate. Whatever is sold at the far end is bought there: whale-shark watching is registered in person at the Oslob desk and cannot be booked ahead by us or by anyone, canyoneering is booked on the day with the licensed Alegria operators, and falls entrances and the Moalboal environmental fee are paid at the gate. The exception is Sumilon, where the day-use pass must be reserved with the resort before you travel. So the thing worth getting right in the quote is the arrival time rather than a reservation, and that is the part we plan. Usually yes. There is no minimum notice on this route and no cut-off hour, so a request for tomorrow, or for later today, is worth sending rather than writing off. What settles it is whether a vetted driver is free for the time you need, and you will have the answer and the price by email the same day, usually within a few hours. A very early start is routine here rather than a complication. The part that gets harder with less notice is choice - holding a particular vehicle size or an exact pickup hour - not whether the journey can happen, so send the date and, if the timing is tight, the hour you need to be moving.

Nothing to ask for a quote. Once you are happy with the price it is two steps, not a choice between two: a booking fee paid online (card, bank transfer or GCash) confirms the trip and is what gets you your written confirmation, then the balance goes directly to your driver at the end of the journey.
