How do I get from Moalboal to Bohol?
Short answer
There is no direct boat from Moalboal to Bohol. The move everyone actually makes is a road leg back up Cebu’s west coast to Cebu City Pier 1 - about 90 km and 2.5-3 hours by private car through Ronda, Dumanjug, Barili and Carcar - and then the OceanJet fast ferry from Pier 1 to Tagbilaran, a crossing of about 2 hours. Allow 6-7 hours door to port once you add ferry check-in.

It suits travellers already in south Cebu or bringing a vehicle, and it avoids Cebu City traffic - but it means a cross-island drive from Moalboal over to Argao, and sailings are far less frequent than Pier 1. We have not verified its current timetable and fares the way we have the Pier 1 crossing, so we do not print them; check with the operator.
