The return is the same Cebu-Balamban Transcentral Highway in reverse - about 50 km and 1.5 to 2 hours by private car, climbing off the west coast and back over the island into Cebu City. The mountain section runs the same either way; it is the city end that decides whether you are at the short or the long end of that range.
