Short answer
The return is the same Cebu-Balamban Transcentral Highway in reverse - about 50 km and 1.5 to 2 hours by private car, climbing off the west coast and back over the island into Cebu City. The mountain section runs the same either way; it is the city end that decides whether you are at the short or the long end of that range.
If you are coming off a shift or a site visit at the West Cebu Industrial Park, a booked return is worth more than the outbound leg. There is no dependable way to find a car at a yard gate at the end of the day, and the public options over this road are not built around industrial hours.

Roughly 1.5 to 2 hours by private car over the transcentral highway, about 50 km. Allow the upper end if you are arriving into the city at peak, because the last few kilometres are the slowest part of the road.
Can you collect from the shipyard gate?
Yes. Tell us the yard and the gate and the time you expect to be out, and the driver will be there. If you are not sure of the finish time, say so and we will plan for it rather than have you rushing a handover.
Can we go straight to the airport instead of the city?
Yes - that is a separate run and often the more useful one. It is about 65 km from Balamban to Mactan-Cebu Airport, and it uses the same road plus the crossing to Mactan.

How much notice do you need - can I book this for tomorrow?
Usually yes. There is no minimum notice on this route and no cut-off hour, so a request for tomorrow, or for later today, is worth sending rather than writing off. What settles it is whether a vetted driver is free for the time you need, and you will have the answer and the price by email the same day, usually within a few hours. A very early start is routine here rather than a complication. The part that gets harder with less notice is choice - holding a particular vehicle size or an exact pickup hour - not whether the journey can happen, so send the date and, if the timing is tight, the hour you need to be moving.
Do I pay anything up front, and when do I pay the rest?
Nothing to ask for a quote. Once you are happy with the price it is two steps, not a choice between two: a booking fee paid online (card, bank transfer or GCash) confirms the trip and is what gets you your written confirmation, then the balance goes directly to your driver at the end of the journey. The fee is part of the all-in figure you agreed rather than an extra on top of it, and your quote states it before you pay. Free cancellation up to 72 hours before pickup refunds the fee in full.
