Can I visit Tumalog Falls and Kawasan Falls in one day without doing the Oslob whale sharks?

Yes. Tumalog Falls has its own access and entrance about 3 km from Tan-awan, and the whale shark interaction is a separate activity booked and paid for on its own. If you would rather not do the whale sharks, you simply do not book them, and the falls are unaffected. Plenty of our guests visit Oslob for the waterfall alone. One thing to plan for either way: the final approach down to the falls is too steep for a car, so your driver waits at the jump-off and the last leg is a habal-habal or a steep walk, about 10 minutes each way.

Yes, but it is a long day, roughly 13-15 hours door to door, and it only works with a private car and a pre-dawn pickup. Oslob, Moalboal and Badian sit in a loop around Cebu’s southern tip, so the driving is a series of hops in one direction rather than three separate round trips from the city.

Yes, and for many families it is the better option. The usual split is Tumalog Falls on the way down with a night in Moalboal, then the sardine run and Kawasan Falls the next day before driving back. Tell us which version you want in the quote request and we will price it accordingly.

Our fixed-price quote covers the private car or van, the driver, fuel, tolls, parking and hotel or airport pickup and drop-off for the whole day, with the driver waiting at every stop - at Tumalog that means waiting at the jump-off, because the steep last stretch down to the falls is not drivable by car. The habal-habal shuttle and entrance fee at Tumalog, any boat or gear at Moalboal, and the bamboo raft at Kawasan are small, locally run amounts paid on the ground. We never invent those prices.

Not on this particular day. The guided canyoneering descent is a multi-hour activity in its own right, and adding it here would not leave time for Tumalog and Moalboal as well. If canyoneering is the priority, our dedicated Kawasan Falls canyoneering day tour is the better fit.

Treat the full three-stop version as a day that ends at your hotel, not at departures - here is the arithmetic rather than the advice. Kawasan is last, so the clock is Badian's own: be changed, packed and back in the car about 8 hours before a domestic departure or about 9 before an international one, and the flat 1.5 km walk out takes another 15 to 30 minutes before that clock even starts. Run this loop's own timings forward - a pre-dawn pickup, Oslob about 7:00 AM, an hour at Tumalog, 2 to 2.5 hours around the southern tip, the shore snorkel, then the hour down to Badian - and you are realistically in the car at Kawasan nearer 3:30 or 4:00 PM. That points at a domestic flight from about 11:30 PM or midnight, which is past the last departures of the night. It is not a margin we would ask you to fly on, so if a same-day flight matters, cut a stop rather than shorten the buffer.

Cut the last one. Finishing at Moalboal switches the sum from Badian's eight-hour rule to Moalboal's seven-hour rule and removes the hour down the coast, the swim and the walk back to the car: out of the water and moving at about 1:00 PM points to a domestic departure from about 8:00 PM or an international one from about 9:00 PM. If the flight is earlier than that, cut Moalboal too and finish at Oslob, where the eight-hour rule applies from the vehicle at Tan-awan - back in the car about 8:30 AM after Tumalog frees a domestic flight from roughly 4:30 PM and an international one from about 5:30 PM. Send the flight number and date with the quote request and rank the three stops; we will show the longest version that actually fits instead of pretending the full loop is safe.

No, and it is better said plainly. This day already needs a pickup before dawn just to reach Oslob in good light, and even the shortest cut-down version cannot clear a morning departure. The honest shape is the tour the day before, a last night in Cebu City or on Mactan so the airport run is 15 to 45 minutes, and a short transfer in the morning. That is also where the two-day split works well: Tumalog and a night in Moalboal, then the sardine run and Kawasan the next day, ending in the city. The car is private, just your party, one vehicle and one driver for the day. A sedan suits up to about 3 to 4 travellers; a van suits a family or small group. Tell us your group size and we quote the right vehicle.

Your quote for the day covers the vehicle, the fuel, your driver and the waiting time, so a long lunch, a slow ticket queue or an extra hour in the water does not change what you pay. Nothing is metered and nothing is added afterwards. That is also why we ask up front what you want to stop for and roughly how long you want at each place: we price the day you describe. If the day grows well beyond that, we agree it with you rather than billing it later.

Usually we can, and it is worth asking rather than writing it off - there is no minimum notice and no cut-off hour, and every fee on this route is paid locally on the day, so there is nothing to reserve ahead of you. We will also show you what sits where: ask and the car-and-driver cost comes back on its own, separate from the fees you pay on the ground, and on a day with several stops we can price the legs individually as well as together. The one line we will not blur is the one between our side and the ground: the vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and waiting time are ours to price and they sit inside our figure, while entrance, activity, guide and boat fees at the places you stop are set by the operators and the municipalities, are paid locally on the day, and we never mark them up or invent them. Nobody can sell you a queue-skip or a held slot for any of them, so what actually protects your morning is being early: the pickup is timed so you reach the desk nearer opening than the cut-off, and your driver stays with the car and your bags while you are out. If your day includes Sumilon Island, that one works the other way round - the day-use pass has to be reserved ahead with Bluewater, and we will say so in the quote rather than let you find out at the jetty.

The vehicle is yours for the whole day rather than shared, so the luggage goes in once at the start and stays in it: your driver waits with the car at every stop, and you walk to the falls, the boat or the ridge with what you want to carry rather than with your cases. That is what makes an arrival or departure day work at all - you are not looking for a left-luggage counter at the terminal and not paying for a hotel room to hold bags you cannot check into yet. The day also does not have to finish where it started. A common arrival shape is a morning pickup at Mactan, the tour through the day, and a drop-off at your hotel down the coast with the bags arriving with you; the departure version runs the other way and ends at the terminal. What we need from you is the bag count alongside the headcount, because on a day like this the luggage is often what decides the vehicle rather than the number of people - dive kit, a folded pushchair and a surfboard bag all count as luggage.
