Cebu.travel is a travel quote and concierge service. We only ask for the details we need to prepare your quote and arrange your trip - nothing more.
Who we are
Cebu.travel ("we", "us") operates the website at cebu.travel, providing private transfer and tour quotes for Cebu, Philippines. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, please contact us through the form on our site.
What we collect
- Details you submit in the quote form: your name, email, phone number, pickup and destination(s), travel dates, number of passengers, and any notes you choose to add.
- Basic technical data attached to your request to help prevent spam and abuse, such as your approximate country and IP address at the time of submission.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand overall site usage (pages viewed, approximate location, device type), with IP addresses anonymised. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.
Why we use it (and our lawful basis)
- To prepare and send your quote and arrange your trip - on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to, and to perform, a service (and your consent given via the form).
- To reply to you by email about your enquiry.
- To keep records and prevent abuse - on the basis of our legitimate interests in running the service securely.
Who we share it with
To fulfil your request we may share the relevant trip details with the local driver or transport partner who will carry out your booking, and with service providers that help us operate (for example, our website host and the tool we use to receive and store enquiries). They act on our instructions and only for these purposes.
Where your data is handled
We are based in the Philippines and arrange your trip here. Some of the providers that help us run the site (such as our website host and email) may process your details on our behalf, and we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely.
How long we keep it
We keep quote enquiries only for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, just contact us. Under the Philippines' Data Privacy Act of 2012, you may also raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 cookies to measure visits, with IP addresses anonymised. We do not set advertising or marketing cookies. Any other storage used is strictly to make the website function.
